XML File appears blank in the document viewer if it has the XML declaration

When trying to view an xml file that has the xml declaration (e.g. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>), the file appears blank. If I remove that declaration, it appears normally.

It even appears blank if I rename to .txt

Thank you for reaching out. To better assist you, could you please provide the following information:

  1. Which type and version of .NET are you currently using? (.NET Framework or .NET Standard/Core)
  2. Could you also specify the version of Doconut you are using?
  3. Could you please send the XML example file where the error occurs?

I tried with an XML file in Doconut.app with the XML declaration from your example, and it’s working well

Doconut has been updated, including the XML file processing engine. Please try opening your XML files again with the updated version to confirm that everything is working as expected. If you have any more questions or encounter further issues, feel free to reach out.
