We are re-developing one of our apps in .NET Core (starting fresh, as the old version was built on MVC). We’ve downloaded the .NET Core version of Doconut Viewer to begin the migration. However, when we copy the license file from the older MVC project into the new .NET Core project, Visual Studio (running on localhost) throws a runtime error stating that we are not licensed to use this version.
Do we need to generate a new license file for .NET Core, and if so, what is the process?
Thank you for reaching out to us. The error appears because your current license has expired. For development purposes, you can download our sample package here:
I am 100% certain that our license is current, and I have all the relevant documentation from Doconut to confirm payment, validity, and the terms of our agreement. However, I’m not sure how best to proceed to resolve this issue.
Since this support forum appears to be public, I’m not comfortable attaching receipts or account details here. At the moment, our development work with Doconut is at a standstill until this issue is resolved.
Thank you for sharing these details with us. We completely understand your concern about not posting sensitive information in a public forum.
As the support team, we’re only able to assist here with technical issues related to the integration and usage of Doconut. Licensing matters, including verification of payments and license validity, are handled directly by our Sales team.
Please reach out to sales@doconut.com and include your documentation there (such as invoices or license files). Our Sales team will be able to review your case securely and guide you through the next steps to resolve your license issue.
If the issue you are facing is related to a Doconut integration error, you may attach a simple sample project demonstrating the problem along with the version of Doconut you are using. Please do not attach any licenses or confidential information in the support forum.
